Welcome back to your half hour of chill.
This week, Sarasa meets the people in her town. Like the townsfolk in most sort of bright and fluffy media, they’re a little bit quirky but over all very accepting and generous. This hooks her up with (at a greatly reduced total cost thanks to gifts and discounts for the new alchemist) repairs to her home/shop, furniture, and other basic necessities.
In addition, Ophelia comes and visits, bypassing the month-long journey with magic that lets her run it in three days, in order to give Sarasa a sword and spend a day teaching her how to use it, since she’ll sometimes run into monsters while gathering reagents. She also sets up a little teleport convenience to allow Sarasa to ship things for sale and request items she needs for the capital. Handy, that.
Finally, one of the townsfolk is cute and outgoing young lady called Lorea, who helps her around and works to befriend her. Lorea also manages to score a job as Sarasa’s sales clerk, so that when the shop opens up it will be able to run even while Sarasa is gathering ingredients and the like.
Thus, they’re all set for no adventure when, right as the shop opens, the townsfolk bring in a woman in need, who appears to be missing an arm. Hope you’re good with healing potions, Sarasa.
Honestly, because this is a Slice of Life show that I’m not really expecting to have strong feelings about, I’m all set to pick up another Seasonal this season. I’ll still provide alchemist updates, but I hope you’ll look forward to something with a few more teeth being added to the lineup.
